Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is close to signing a new contract with the club, according to reports. It was reported back in August that the Blues had offered to double the 22-year-old’s wages and it seems a deal will be announced soon.
The England international’s current contract expires in 2022, but this new offer will see him sign a new five-year deal keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2024. Fans on Twitter are hoping that the club make the announcement very shortly:

Abraham is said to be earning £50,000 a week at the moment, but it is believed his new salary will be above the £100k mark. It is fully deserved based on his current form.
The forward has scored nine goals in eleven appearances so far this campaign and has now firmly established himself as the club’s first-choice striker. His performances have even earned him a call up for England’s games against the Czech Republic and Bulgaria this week.
