Cuadrado Exit Possible

Cuadrado Exit Possible

Chelsea are apparently ready to sell Juan Cuadrado this summer, and could take a loss of about £5 million on the player.

There have been a lot of rumors regarding Juan Cuadrado’s future at Chelsea in recent times. The Colombian was a huge disappointment for short time he has been at the club since joining for £23.3 million in January. The 27 year old made just 12 appearances for Chelsea last season and has certainly struggled to fit in at Stamford Bridge since his move from Fiorentina.

According to reports, various Serie A clubs including Roma and Juventus are interested in taking the Colombian on, but none are said to be willing to spend upwards of around £18 million on the winger, meaning the Blues would take a £5 million hit.

Chelsea are already said to be lining up a replacement for the flop, and are looking towards Napoli’s Jose Callejon and Barcelona’s Pedro. Both wingers would be available at a reasonable price, and Pedro in particular looks destined to leave the Nou Camp this summer after falling out of favour in Barcelona’s first team picture.

Chelsea don’t seem too keen to spend massive amounts this summer, and why should they? A dominant side in last seasons campaign, the Blues have tonnes of talent in the pipeline and are by all means THE side to beat in the Premier League, despite their rivals spending big.
