Chelsea’s newest signing Hakim Ziyech is “hoping to persuade” Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana to make the move with him to Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Mail.
Ziyech has already agreed to join the Blues for £37m in the summer but Frank Lampard’s side have also been heavily linked with Onana over the past few months.
The Cameroon international is reportedly being eyed as a potential replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is not expected to remain at the London club at the end of the season.
Onana is said to be valued close to £50m by Ajax, meaning an outlay on both players could top £87m. The 23-year-old is said to be close friends with Ziyech which could help facilitate the move.
The shot-stopper is also believed to be keen on a move to London, although it is claimed Tottenham and Barcelona are interested in signing him this summer as well.
