Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has requested that the club target Paris Saint-Germain captain Marquinhos this summer in order to strengthen the Blues’ defence, according to reports in England.
The Brazilian worked under Tuchel at PSG and it appears the German is keen on being reunited with the centre-back. Fans on Twitter are very much behind the move to snap up the 26-year-old:

Marquinhos is a world-class defender so signing him would be a massive coup, but there is a big difference between being interested and making a deal happen.
The centre-half is PSG’s talisman so they won’t be letting him go without a fight. Chelsea are thought to be looking at other options too, with Bayern Munich’s Niklas Sule high on the list of potential options.
It appears that the Blues will be strengthening a number of areas of the squad, with the likes of Jadon Sancho and Romelu Lukaku also being looked at ahead of the summer transfer window.
