Winter Transfers Slammed By Mourinho At Half-Time

The Blues looked tired and seemingly lacked the necessary commitment in the game against Norwich. They lost their last chance at a trophy this year which even though slim, it was still there. According to Metro, tension is high within the club as Mourinho lashed out at his two new additions to the team. Matic and Salah were targeted by the Portuguese boss who expressed his disappointment with the new arrivals. This is the second time this month when the Special One has generated a conflict between him and his players. Apparently Hazard who has been Chelsea’s best player this season may end up on the transfer list after commenting on Mourinho’s defensive style.

When asked about what happened during half time, Mourinho said he simply pointed out to his players that they are slow and that the mid-section of the team is not working at all. He refused to comment on the quotes that were released to the press shortly after the game. Apparently he told Salah to step up his game or else he will not be part of Chelsea’s plans for next season. Matic was also targeted by Mourinho who said he might have made a mistake re-signing the Serbian.

Regardless of the fact that the quotes which reached the press may or may not be true, tension has been building up on Stamford Bridge. Hopefully for the club, things will cool down for the end of the season.
