Willian And Pedro To Start, Barkley And Alonso Out: Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Face Bournemouth

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is likely to be scratching his head over his team selection for tomorrow’s game against Bournemouth. They performed well versus Spurs last weekend but were woeful midweek in the defeat to Bayern.

Willy Caballero is expected to keep his place in goal ahead of Kepa, but Lampard may opt to switch to four at the back, with Cesar Azpilicueta likely to switch to left-back and Marcos Alonso dropping out.

The midfield three will probably be Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho and Mason Mount after Ross Barkley flattered to deceive in the loss on Tuesday night.

A move to a back four will also require wingers so both Willian and Pedro could be restored to the starting eleven with Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi still out injured.

Tammy Abraham’s injury setback means that Lampard will have to decide between Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi once again. The Frenchman is likely to get a third consecutive start despite firing a blank against Bayern.

Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Face Bournemouth:

Caballero, James, Christensen, Rudiger, Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Mount, Kovacic, Pedro, Giroud, Willian
