Willian And Mount To Start, Caballero Picked Ahead Of Kepa: Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Face Everton

Chelsea currently have seven players on the treatment table so manager Frank Lampard won’t have many options available to him for Sunday’s game against Everton.

The Blues boss may opt for the same defence that kept a clean sheet versus Liverpool in the FA Cup, with Kurt Zouma keeping his place ahead of fit-again Andreas Christensen. Willy Caballero could return to the line up despite Kepa’s good display midweek.

In midfield, Lampard has limited options available to him with Jorginho suspended, Mateo Kovacic sidelined with an Achilles injury and N’Golo Kante still out of contention. After impressing on Tuesday night, Billy Gilmour is the favourite to keep his holding midfield role, with Mason Mount and Ross Barkley playing alongside him.

The biggest question mark will be who will play in the front three. Willian is touch and go due to his own Achilles problem, but with Callum Hudson-Odoi (hamstring), Christian Pulisic (groin) and Tammy Abraham (ankle) all unavailable, the Brazilian may have to start alongside Olivier Giroud and Pedro.

Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Face Everton:

Caballero, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Zouma, Alonso, Barkley, Gilmour, Mount, Willian, Giroud, Pedro
