Chelsea are keen on signing Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey this summer, according to reports in England. It is claimed that the Jamaican could be the subject of an £85m bid from the London club.
Manchester United and Arsenal have also been linked to the 22-year-old in the past but it appears the Blues and Bayern Munich are the two teams leading the race for the Bundesliga star. Fans on Twitter are unconvinced that he is worth the outlay:

Spending 85 Million on leon bailey is the most idiotic thing to do after we got such a bargain on talent like ziyech.. signing him does not ensure goals for us .. It's should be either sancho or boga on the wings after summer

For many, it seems Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho would be their preferred choice. The England international would likely cost at least £35m more than Bailey and much may depend on how far Chelsea’s transfer budget will stretch.
Bailey certainly hasn’t had a great season, but the winger has been on the club’s radar for a number of years, and it appears scouts are convinced that he could fulfil his potential at Stamford Bridge.
