Will Hazard Join PSG Next Summer?

Belgium international, Eden Hazard is a top target of PSG, who are reportedly set to make a huge bid for his services next summer. Hazard already has experience of Ligue 1, having played four full seasons for Lille before joining Chelsea in 2012.

The PFA Young Player of the Year believes he is best suited to continue his development as a player at Stamford Bridge. The 23-year-old also feels that Chelsea has a bigger chance of lifting the Champions League than the French side, which is key to ensure his stay at the club.

According to the Daily Mail, Hazard said, “PSG are in the same world than Chelsea. But, to be a top club they need to win the Champions League. I’m fine with Chelsea and this is where I want to continue to grow. PSG are not in my head. Move back to Ligue 1? Maybe one day. But only for Lille. Ligue 1 is a great league in Europe but not the best. It’s a league for youngsters.”

The Blues are reportedly set to tie down the playmaker to a new five-year deal worth £200,000 a week.
