Will Chelsea Sell Oscar To Fund Striker Move?

It is no secret that French giants, PSG have targeted a summer move for Oscar, who is Jose Mourinho’s number one playmaker at the club. Mourinho even allowed Mata to leave the club as he heavily favoured Oscar in the number 10 role behind the striker.

According to the Mirror, PSG are ready to stump up close to a remarkable £40 million for the Brazilian’s services. They have been unforgiving in the chase for Oscar and will test Chelsea’s resolve in keeping the 20-year-old by formally submitting a bid in the summer.

There have been reports circulating that Mourinho, in order to comply with the FFP regulations, will need to sell his star players like Hazard or Oscar to fund a summer move for Diego Costa – his number one transfer target for the summer.

The back-to-back European winners are woefully short of quality options up front and they are expected to sign at least one big money forward in the summer. Costa tops their wish-list, with Radamel Falcao also on their radar.
