“Why Not?” Jorginho’s Agent Raises Prospect Of Chelsea Star Rejoining Sarri At Juventus

The agent of Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has said that the Italian international will consider his future at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Speaking to TMW, Joao Santos revealed that there may well be bids for the player if he performs well at the European Championships for Italy in the summer:

“His goal is the Euros with the national team. There are many expectations around Mancini’s team. The European Championship is also a good showcase, even personally. He is doing very well at Chelsea and I am sure that some important proposals will come because, in his role, there are not many high-level players like him around.”

Asked whether a bid from Juventus would be likely, considering Jorginho’s mentor Maurizio Sarri is manager, Santos said he was open to the possibility:

“Why not? I am sure that some important proposals will come, which we would obviously evaluate together with Chelsea.”

Although it appears Santos is very much just doing his job by stating that offers may well be made for the 28-year-old, the fact that he didn’t completely shut down talk about a possible summer move does suggest the player is keeping his options open.

Jorginho has been a regular under manager Frank Lampard this season, having scored seven goals and provided two assists in 32 appearances; a big improvement on his first campaign with the Blues.
