Ferland Mendy’s first season at the Bernabeu has proven to be a success and many now see him as the long-term successor to Marcelo. The Brazilian is also still at the club so there is very little room for another left-back.

Reguilon will need to leave Real this summer in order to get more first-team football, either on loan once again or on a permanent basis.
