He Starred At The Under 20 African Cup of Nations

Adama Bojang

While his grandfather, Abdoulie Bojang, is in charge of Gambia’s U20 team, Adama was there on merit when he was selected in the squad for the Under 20 AFCON.

The forward ended up being second top goalscorer at the tournament, helping his country to the final, where they lost to Senegal.

Bojang scored three times versus South Sudan in the quarter-final and he then slotted home the winner in a famous victory against Nigeria in the semi-final.

Unsurprisingly, he was named in the team of the tournament for his exploits
