2) N’Golo Kante – £290,000 a week
The Frenchman more than merits his pay packet, considering what he offers the team when he is fit and available. There are some concerns that he is getting more injury prone as he gets older but he did play a key role in helping Chelsea win the Champions League back in May.
Kante should be back in contention after the international break and it will be hoped that he can help the Blues mount a strong title challenge this campaign.
