Who Did Chelsea And Manchester City Draw In The Champions League Quarter-Finals?

Chelsea are set to play Spanish giants Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League this year, following their victory over Borussia Dortmund in the last 16.

In the previous round, Madrid defeated Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool by an aggregate score of 6-2. No one has won the Champions League on more occasions than Los Blancos – 14 times in total. They’re no pushovers – Chelsea will need to be playing to the peak of their abilities to mount a serious challenge against them.

Meanwhile, Manchester City were given a similarly difficult draw, as they’re set to play Bayern Munich in the next round of the competition.

Meanwhile, AC Milan will take on Napoli in an all-Italian clash, while Inter Milan have been drawn against Portuguese outfit Benfica.

The semi-final draw was also completed during the quarter-final draw. If Chelsea make it past Real Madrid, they’ll play Man City or Bayern in the following round.

This could set the scene for a repeat of the 2021 Champions League final in the semi-finals of this year’s tournament. In that game, Chelsea ran out as 1-0 winners, with Kai Havertz scoring the only goal of the game.

The full draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League is as follows:
