Chelsea have made a bid of €88m (£79m) plus bonuses for Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Kai Havertz, according to reports in the Colombian media.
Real Madrid are also said to be keen on the German international with the same source claiming that the La Liga giants have tabled a smaller €80m (£72m) offer.
Fans on Twitter are sceptical about the reliability of the reports, but they are still excited nonetheless about the possibility of signing Havertz:

Although it is believed that Havertz is on Chelsea’s radar, it was thought that Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell was top of the Blues’ list of transfer targets.
With the England international reportedly valued at around £75m by the Foxes, it’s unlikely that the London club could afford to sign both players, without player sales.
It is, therefore, probably wise for supporters to take this latest claim about Havertz with a large pinch of salt.
