Wesley Fofana Names The Six Clubs He Would Be Interested In Joining Amid Chelsea Transfer Links

Leicester centre-back Wesley Fofana has spoken about his future ambitions, following claims that he could be a summer transfer target for Chelsea.

Reports in France have suggested that the Blues have contacted the player’s representatives ahead of a potential bid at the end of the season. When asked about the clubs he would like to join, Fofana listed six different teams, including Thomas Tuchel’s side:

“There is Marseille, Real Madrid, Barcelona. In the Premier League, Chelsea, Man United, Man City… but you have to work to achieve your dreams. Through work, you can succeed in it all.”

Fofana is currently sidelined with a broken leg which he sustained in a pre-season friendly against Villarreal back in August but he impressed many observers during his first season with Leicester, helping the Foxes win the FA Cup, at Chelsea’s expense.

The 20-year-old could be an option if contract negotiations with the likes of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger don’t come to a successful conclusion. Both centre-halves have deals that expire in June and recent reports indicate that progress has not been made in getting the two players to sign extensions.
