Paris Saint-Germain have begun talks with Chelsea about signing Jorginho on loan, according to reports in the French media. It is believed that Arsenal are also very interested in the Italian international but no agreement has been reached with either club at this stage.
The midfielder was an unused substitute in the 3-3 draw against West Brom at the weekend, but he had started the first two league games of the season. The Blues’ pursuit of Declan Rice could lead to the 28-year-old’s game time being reduced and the London club may be open to selling him in order to raise funds.
Whether Chelsea would be interested in loaning out Jorginho, though, is another matter, and supporters on Twitter have been debating the merits of the Italian’s potential departure:
We should keep him

Keep Jorginho, Rice ain't gonna give Chelsea anything thing better than what Jorginho offers.

Unless they can sell Jorginho, or at least to secure an obligation to buy in any loan deal, it would be a surprise if Chelsea let the midfielder leave before the transfer window closes, but with a week to go until the deadline, anything can happen.
