Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic missed a sitter as the Blues played out a 1-1 draw against Leicester City yesterday evening.
The American international pretty much had an open goal to aim at, following a cross from Romelu Lukaku, but he somehow managed to fluff his lines, with a tame shot from his right foot trickling comfortably wide of the far post.
Pulisic’s profligacy in front of goal has become a major bone of contention among supporters on Twitter, with some believing he should be offloaded in the summer:

This is not the first time this campaign where Pulisic’s finishing has been called into question. You do expect a lot more from a player who cost £58m.
However, it is symptomatic of a frontline that has been misfiring all season. While manager Thomas Tuchel can be criticised to an extent, in terms of not getting the most out of his attacking talent, this latest miss from Pulisic demonstrates that the Chelsea boss can only do so much.
