“We Have Offers On The Table…” Agent Of £30M Rated Senegalese Ace Speaks Out Following Chelsea Links

Chelsea target Nicolas Jackson will make a decision on his future “shortly”, according to his agent Diomansy Kamara.

The Blues are believed to be weighing up a move for the Villarreal striker but Kamara has revealed that the player has already received approaches from a number of different teams:

“Now we have offers on the table. We are in the process of evaluating them and, shortly, you will have news regarding their situation.”

The Senegalese international had a strong finish to the 2022/23 season, scoring nine goals in his last eight league games, and that form has clearly attracted the attention of Chelsea and other clubs.

Jackson will be available for a low price

The 21-year-old has a release clause in his contract that would allow him to leave Villarreal for just €35m (£30m), making him a very attractive target.

It is not known who Chelsea’s competitors for Jackson are at this stage, but there are likely to be plenty of teams interested in the player due to his price tag,

Chelsea are considering other options

Juventus’s Dusan Vlahovic is another forward that the Blues are known to be interested in, and reports in the Italian media have raised the prospect of a potential swap deal, including the likes of Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah.

There are other names on the club’s shortlist, including the likes of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund and Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez, but all of those options would cost, at least, double what Jackson is available for.

Signing Jackson would still be a risk

Despite the striker being on the market for such a low fee, it would still be a gamble to go after him. He was on the verge of joining Bournemouth in January, only to fail a medical.

It should also be pointed out that his form at the end of last season may well turn out to be a flash in the pan, rather than an indication of future performances. We shall have to wait and see how this transfer story unfolds.
