Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell picked up an injury in the first half of England’s 2-0 defeat to Belgium in the Nations League last night.
The 23-year-old pulled up just before half time needing treatment on a back problem and he was replaced by Bukayo Saka for the rest of the game. Fans on Twitter are frustrated that one of their key players has picked up an injury on international duty:
We can't ever catch a break cba sigh.

Chilwell arrived at Stamford Bridge with a heel injury following his £50m move from Leicester City in the summer and, despite missing the start of the season, he had begun to string together a number of very good performances for the Blues.
It remains to be seen how serious this back issue is. Supporters will be hoping it is merely a precaution and doesn’t jeopardise his selection for Chelsea’s game against Newcastle in the lunchtime kickoff at St James’ Park on Saturday.
