Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount put in an excellent performance at Anfield yesterday evening and one piece of great skill summed up his night.
The 22-year-old took down a pass with superb close control before turning away from Liverpool defender Joel Matip who fouled him.
Supporters on Twitter were praising Mount for his outstanding skill and his overall display in the 1-1 draw:

Mount and Kai Havertz caused all sorts of problems for Liverpool’s defence in the first half before manager Thomas Tuchel had to change things at halftime after Reece James’ red card.
There was another standout moment from Mount when he turned Trent Alexander-Arnold inside and out, before shooting across goal. He probably will be disappointed that he didn’t put his side 2-0 up.
Even so, despite a lot going against them yesterday, Tuchel will be delighted with how his players, particularly Mount, performed in difficult circumstances to get a point.
