‘Unlikely To Be Pursued…’ Report Makes New Claim About Chelsea’s Interest In 68M Rated Brazilian Ace

Chelsea are not interested in signing Everton forward Richarlison this summer, according to Football.London reporter Adam Newsom.

It was reported earlier this week that the Blues were one of the Brazilian’s three preferred destinations if he leaves Goodison Park, along with PSG and Real Madrid, but Newsom says the player is “unlikely to be pursued”:

One of the reasons that Richarlison is not a priority is probably to do with his price tag. The Brazilian media suggested last month that Everton are holding out for around €80m (£68m) for the 25-year-old.

Other Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester United, have also been credited with an interest in the striker, so the player could still be on the move this summer.

In terms of Chelsea’s other options to strengthen the forward line, it appears that City pair Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus are currently the priority targets for manager Thomas Tuchel, along with RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku.
