Unhappy Chelsea Star Has Asked Agents To Find Him New Club

Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud has asked his agents to find him a new club so he can leave in the January transfer window, according to reports in Italy.

The France international did start the 1-0 defeat to West Ham at the weekend, but it was only his third start of the season, and he is likely to lose his place once Tammy Abraham returns to fitness.

It is believed that Giroud has been offered to both Inter Milan and AC Milan, but neither team sees the 33-year-old as a priority in the winter market.

The striker is reportedly worried about losing his place in the France squad ahead of Euro 2020 in the summer. His national team coach Didier Deschamps has said that the Frenchman must move clubs if he isn’t playing regular first-team football.

Blues boss Frank Lampard is believed to be reluctant to lose Giroud, especially with the club’s transfer ban remaining in place, but with the forward’s contract expiring in the summer, he could be let go in January.
