“Under Discussion…” Report Lists 3 Strikers (Worth A Combined 172M) Who Chelsea May Sign To Replace Lukaku

Chelsea have added Napoli forward Victor Osimhen, Lille’s Jonathan David and Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca to their list of targets as they pursue a successor for Romelu Lukaku, according to the Daily Mail.

It had been assumed that the Blues won’t be looking for a direct replacement, with manager Thomas Tuchel keen to have a more fluid and dynamic front three, but the Mail claims that the three strikers are “under discussion” as possible options.

Napoli are looking for around €100m (£86m) to sell Osimhen, while both David and Scamacca could fetch around €50m (£43m) apiece, but it remains to be seen whether any of them will end up being primary targets for Tuchel.

At the moment, the focus seems to be on snapping up Raheem Sterling from Manchester City, while the club could also make moves for the likes of Everton’s Richarlison and RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku.

There has been some speculation that Tuchel would sign Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, if he had the opportunity, so, even if the likes of Osimhen, David or Scamacca are not seen as top priorities, securing the services of a traditional number nine could still be on the agenda.
