Twitter has it’s say on Alvaro Morata’s “grease lightening” hairstyle

Alvaro Morata notched his first Chelsea goal in 2018 during the Blues’ win over Leicester City on Sunday afternoon.

The Spaniard, who had previously gone 11 games without a goal for Antonio Conte’s side, opened the scoring during his side’s 2-1 over the Foxes in the FA Cup quarter-final.

Willian drove brilliantly from his own half past two Leicester players before feeding Morata through on-goal, who found the back of the net to notch his well overdue 13th of the season.

Jamie Vardy levelled the scoring late on at the King Power Stadium, taking the tie to extra-time.

Chelsea substitute Pedro then sealed the tie for the visitors when he headed home with only 15 minutes left.

The Blues will take on Southampton in the semi-finals, who beat Wigan earlier in the afternoon during Mark Hughe’s first game in charge.

Morata’s goal was a much needed confidence boost for the former Juventus and Real Madrid man whose last strike in a Chelsea shirt came on Boxing Day last year.

His return to goal-scoring form was well welcomed by the man himself, his manager and the Chelsea fans, however there was something else that most caught the eye of the onlookers about the Blues’ record signing.

Well, this man is automatic. He’s systematic. He’s hydromatic. Why, it’s greased lightning!
