Turkish Giants Plotting Deal To Snap Up Chelsea’s Batshuayi

Fenerbahce will make a move for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, according to reports in the Turkish media.

The Belgian international has impressed manager Frank Lampard in pre-season so far but the Super Lig club’s Director of Football Damien Comolli is working on a plan to recruit the forward.

Fenerbahce are believed to be waiting patiently until the Premier League transfer window closes on August 8th.

If Batshauyi is still a Chelsea player and has not been snapped up by another club, the Turkish side will then make their move.

However, it appears Fenerbahce will only be looking to offer a loan deal, which may not interest the Blues.

Batshuayi had two loan spells away from Stamford Bridge last season, playing the first half of the campaign at Valencia before moving to Crystal Palace.

Considering Chelsea’s transfer ban, it would seem unlikely that the club would just loan him out again considering they have no way to replace him.
