Tuchel Weighs Up Selling 34M Lampard Signing With Two Italian Clubs Circling

Chelsea are considering whether to sell Hakim Ziyech this summer, just a year after snapping up the Moroccan for €40m (£34m), according to reports in Italy.

Manager Thomas Tuchel is yet to make a final decision on the 28-year-old’s future but his situation is being monitored by two teams in Italy who could well make an offer for the winger if he becomes available.

Napoli are said to be weighing up a bid for Ziyech, if they can raise the funds through player sales, while AC Milan have been scouting the player for the best part of a month.

The Moroccan international has had a rather disappointing first season at Stamford Bridge, having scored just two goals and provided three assists in 23 league appearances.

Ziyech struggled for fitness at the start of the campaign, after picking up a knee problem in preseason, and he was also sidelined for most of December with a hip injury. However, even when he has played, he has not made the impact many had expected.
