Tuchel Set To Raid Former Club PSG As Chelsea Target Bargain Deal For 18 Year Old Playmaker

Chelsea have revived their interest in Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder Kays Ruiz-Atil, according to Footmercato.net.

It was reported last year that the Blues had withdrawn from the race to sign the 18-year-old but the player is now set to run down his contract, which expires at the end of the season.

Manager Thomas Tuchel handed Ruiz-Atil his senior debut for PSG against Lens back in September and, with the German being a big fan of the teenager, it seems Chelsea will make another attempt to sign him.

The playmaker has not made a single appearance since the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as manager and there has been no agreement reached on a contract extension, with Footmercato claiming the main stumbling block is the signing bonus.

Chelsea would be getting a talented midfielder if they snap up Ruiz-Atil. He can either play through the middle or from the left-wing, and he has also been utilised as a centre-forward at youth team level.
