Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel wants the club to re-sign Romelu Lukaku if they can’t secure a deal for Erling Haaland this summer, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk.
The 27-year-old has been in excellent form for Inter Milan this season and Falk says Tuchel is keen to bring the Belgian international back to Stamford Bridge were they to miss out on Haaland:

Lukaku has scored 25 goals in all competitions this campaign and his strike rate since leaving Manchester United just under two years ago has been excellent. The Belgian is averaging a goal every 1.4 games for Inter.
With that type of record, it is surprising that the Serie A side are willing to let him leave, but they are under pressure financially to balance the books, so a deal could be done for a lot less than it would cost to buy Haaland.
There will be other teams pursuing Lukaku, though, with Manchester City also believed to be interested in the striker.
