Traore Not Yet Up To The Task Of Becoming Mourinho’s First Choice

The 18 year old Bertrand Traore who is considered one of the most promising midfielders of his generation, will be sent on loan with Vitesse for one more year after completing a decent season in Holland. According to the Daily Mail, the Burkina Faso international has already agreed to spend 12 more months in the Eredivisie where he managed his first senior career appearances. He was offered a professional contract just as he turned 18 which means Chelsea have big plans for the young player.

Vitesse’s staff looked very happy with the fact that they will be continuing their collaboration with the 18 year old who in 15 appearances managed to score three goals, one of which was against Ajax. Mohammed Allach who is the Dutch side’s technical director, told the press that Traore is definitely one of Chelsea’s prized possessions. He is hard-working, very fit and has a strong personality which are great attributes for a young footballer to have.

The youngster who made a great impression while in Holland, has already made his debut for his national team 3 years ago when he was 15. Since then he has managed 11 appearances and scored 1 goal. Unfortunately his national team has yet to face any important adversaries to offer the midfielder the chance to show off his abilities. Hopefully he will do that while playing for Vitesse who finished 6th last season in the Eredivisie.
