Thomas Tuchel Drops Big Hint About Where He Will Manage Next After Chelsea

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed that he is keen on managing in Serie A at some point in the future.

The German has already coached in Germany, France and England, and the 48-year-old says he does have an affinity with Italian clubs, after watching them when he was younger:

“I always remember the great Italian teams since I was a child, many Italians live in Germany and I often spend my holidays there. It would be a pleasure to come and train in Serie A and feel the atmosphere you feel for this sport.”

Blues fans will be hoping Tuchel sticks around in London for a while yet, though. He made an instant impact after taking over from Frank Lampard last January, and his team continue to perform impressively in the league.

Being top after seven games played is undoubtedly a great start, but there are certain areas where things can be improved. A disappointing home defeat to Manchester City showed there is still work to do if they are to challenge for the title this season.

In the Champions League, the loss to Juventus was not ideal and Chelsea will be keen to recover quickly to ensure qualification from the group stages.
