Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic will be among the players who will look to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer if his playing situation doesn’t improve, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist says the 22-year-old is remaining patient for now and will only make a decision on his future at the end of the season. However, there are a number of top clubs interested in taking him off the Blues’ hands were he to push for an exit.
Pulisic has undoubted natural ability, and was one of the club’s best players after Project Restart, but manager Thomas Tuchel’s decision to play him so rarely has changed the situation dramatically. Fans on Twitter have been discussing his potential departure:
This can’t happen

He’s not even been given a proper chance under Tuchel yet. I’m not worried

This is saddening. I don’t want Puli was to leave. Tuchel has to find a way to maximize his potentials. Please ??

He has been ready to play over the last month and hasn’t gotten an opportunity.
Do we forget that he was Chelsea’s best player last year?

He’s had about 5 good games, wouldn’t be a huge miss.

Just needs 1 game to get going, I’m not that worried

The likes of Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Liverpool are thought to be keeping tabs on Pulisic, but it seems any sale will depend on what happens to the American international over the next few months.
