‘They Better Buy One Of Them If Not Both’ ‘What of Abraham?’ Fans Debate Reports That Chelsea Scouted TWO Strikers This Week

Chelsea scouted both RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner and Lyon striker Moussa Dembele on Tuesday night, according to the Daily Mail.

Representatives from the Blues were said to be in the stands as Leipzig drew 2-2 against Lyon. Dembele did not get on the scoresheet but Werner did stick away a penalty before being substituted early in the second half.

Supporters on Twitter have been debating which player would be the best signing for Chelsea, and most settled on Werner:

Werner is certainly in excellent form, having scored 20 goals in just 22 appearances this season. The 23-year-old did sign a contract extension earlier this year but there is reportedly a release clause in his new deal.

Both Manchester United and Liverpool are also believed to be watching the German international, while there are also a number of European clubs keeping close tabs on the player ahead of the January transfer window.
