Chelsea have joined Everton in the race to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com.
The Frenchman worked under Thomas Tuchel at Paris Saint-Germain for a season during the 2018/19 campaign and TMW report “there is interest” from the Blues with the German seemingly keen on a reunion.
Juve have had a poor season by their standards, currently sitting fourth in the Serie A table, and there is expected to be a clearout of players in the summer, with Rabiot likely to be offloaded.
The 26-year-old was heavily linked with Arsenal and Manchester United before he moved on a free transfer from PSG in 2019, and it seems he could finally end up in England if Tuchel gets his way.
Rabiot has been a regular starter under manager Andrea Pirlo this campaign, having made 36 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and contributing two assists, and it remains to be seen what sort of price tag the Italian side will put on his head.
