The worst of Chelsea’s hairstyles

The worst of Chelsea’s hairstyles

The footballing world has seen some of the most iconic hairstyles ever over the years. From Ruud Gullit’s dreadlocks and Maradona’s perm, to Radja Nainggolan’s Mohawk and Neymar’s Pot Noodle looking barnet.

Whether you love them or hate them, there’s no denying that the outrageous hairstyles we’ve seen over the years have always somehow managed to find the limelight.

In promotion of the Men Ultra range and as part of the Head & Shoulders #JUSTWATCHME campaign, football hairstylist Landry Agres is giving fans exclusive football hairstyle tutorials so they can replicate some of the beautiful game’s most iconic hairstyles this summer.

With this in mind, we’ve decided to take a look at some of the worst hairstyles to have donned the famous Chelsea shirt over the years.

We start with Sideshow Bob himself, David Luiz. The Brazilian’s curls have dazzled the footballing world for as long as we can remember and his locks are certainly some of the most well known in the game.

Next up is Portuguese midfielder Raul Meireles, who looked like he’d caught his head in a lawnmower when he styled the famous mohawk haircut back in 2011.

Tiémoué Bakayoko debut season at Chelsea was filled largely with disappointment for various reasons, but his barnet certainly didn’t help matters!

Finally, it has to be worth mentioning Antonio Conte at some point. Despite never playing for Chelsea, the Italian has one of the most impressive haircuts (if you can call it that) in the game. Several years ago it looked almost certain that the 48-year-old was heading down the bald headed route, only for him to now display some of the finest dark locks the footballing world has seen – miraculous!

As mentioned before, fans can now visit www.headandshoulders.com for exclusive tutorials from Landry Agres.
