The Athletic Confirm Chelsea’s Stance On Selling 12 Cap International Forward Amid Interest From PL Rivals

Chelsea will wait until the end of the season to make a final decision on Armando Broja’s future, according to The Athletic.

The likes of Napoli, Arsenal and West Ham have all been credited with an interest in the Albanian, who already has 12 caps for his country, but the Blues are not in a rush to sell the striker.

Broja has impressed during a loan spell at Southampton, and the Saints are another team who would be keen on signing the 20-year-old on a permanent basis.

However, The Athletic insist that a “decision on the player’s future will not be made until the summer.” That corresponds with other reports, including ones in Italy, which had suggested that Blues director Marina Granovskaia was looking to sell Broja before making a u-turn.

Of course, the club’s ownership situation has had a large bearing on Chelsea’s move to keep Broja for now, and we shall see if things change in the coming weeks and months.
