The 4 Chelsea Players Who Could Well Benefit From Tuchel’s Appointment As Manager

There are four players in Chelsea’s squad who may well benefit most from Thomas Tuchel’s appointment at Stamford Bridge, according to German football expert Constantin Eckner.

Writing in a piece for the BBC, Eckner said that Tuchel tried to sign both Jorginho and Antonio Rudiger when he was at Paris Saint-Germain so the likelihood is that the pair will play more prominent roles for the remainder of the season.

Tuchel is also known to have a good relationship with Thiago Silva, with the Brazilian having been captain of PSG during his two and a half year spell in charge of the Ligue One side.

The German manager was also extremely influential in Christian Pulisic’s formative years at Borussia Dortmund, having handed the American his senior debut in January 2016.

With it also being claimed that Tuchel has been handpicked to get the best out of fellow countryman, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, it seems the 47-year-old already has the nucleus for his starting eleven. It will be interesting to see who he picks if he is in charge against Wolves tomorrow.
