‘That Boy Is A Baller’ ‘I Don’t Know What Lampard Is Waiting For’ Fans Hail Chelsea Teenager After FA Youth Cup Display

Chelsea midfielder Tino Anjorin captained the Under 18s to an incredible 7-0 rout over Wolves in the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup last night.

The England Under 19 international got on the scoresheet but it was his overall game that caught the eye. A lot of fans on Twitter feel that the 18-year-old has what it takes to make the step up to the first team:

Anjorin has been in excellent form this season, having performed well in the UEFA Youth League, Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy. He got his first taste of first-team action when Frank Lampard gave him his debut in the 7-1 win over Grimsby in the Carabao Cup back in September.

Unlike previous Chelsea managers, Lampard will give the teenager more chances if he thinks he is ready to play regularly at senior level. One problem at the moment is that the club has a number of attacking midfielders in the squad.

Both Mason Mount and Ross Barkley are vying for a place in the starting line up, and while the Anjorin does have massive potential, he may need a loan spell away from Stamford Bridge.
