Terry Preparing To Take On New Challenges

John Terry looks to have a future within the club. The 34 year old defender who has spent well over a decade at Stamford Bridge recently had the chance to spread his knowledge and teach some of the youngsters at the club what it means to be a champion. According to the Daily Mail, Terry took over the coaching session for the U15 team and passed on some valuable pieces of information to the players who will soon have to fight their way for a spot in Chelsea’s starting eleven.

It was a great day for the teenagers who had the chance to see a true Chelsea legend in action. Terry just completed his 649th game for the Blues but is also thinking about his future as a manager. In some of the Instagram pictures JT posted on his personal account, he mentioned he will be a shirt and tie manager but not right now as he is preparing to sign a one year extension on his current deal.

Terry has already made a mark on some of Chelsea’s current players which sounds great if you consider the qualities necessary to be a great manager. In recent statements, freshly transferred Kurt Zouma mentioned that he learned a lot since moving to Stamford Bridge and that Terry was the one who was always backing him no matter how difficult the situation. It is unfortunate though that Lampard did not get the opportunity to inspire others just as JT does and will probably do over the next years.
