Juventus have approached Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri about taking over at the Serie A champions, according to reports in Italy.
It was announced yesterday that Max Allegri would be leaving the Bianconeri after five years in the job.
Sarri has not been able to stamp his mark on Chelsea since his arrival and the fanbase have yet to warm to him. There has, therefore, been a mixed reaction on social media among Blues fans regarding the rumours:
Take him

Ah man going to manage Dybala and Ronaldo! Totally deserved in my opinion. Deserves the best! ?❤

Many factors will work against this move. He won’t be able to poach JoJo from Chelsea and he still has a contract with Chelsea. I don’t think the board will be so naive to let him leave. The man met his target!!! He should be respected.

I will personally drive him to Heathrow.

Sarri won’t be interested, too loyal to Napoli

This may ultimately be for the best. I appreciate the results/ season outcome may look good on paper but ultimately there does not appear to have been a meaningful connection made with either the fans or the players…..

Although Sarri is believed to be Juve’s preferred candidate, a consensus among the Italian club’s board has yet to be reached.
Former manager Antonio Conte, Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi, France head coach Didier Deschamps, Jose Mourinho and Sinisa Mihaljovic are the other names in the frame.
Sarri has already stated that he would like to stay at Stamford Bridge next season but there has been speculation that he could be sacked by the Blues with Chelsea legend Frank Lampard the heavy favourite to take over.
