Suarez May Be Missing Piece For Chelsea If They Could Sign Him- Unlikely!

Chelsea still have some room for improvement despite being one of Europe’s most acclaimed clubs. The Blues are currently engaged in the Premier League title race, the Champions League and the FA Cup.

Mourinho has had a positive impact on the London side since his return but he is still convinced his team can do a lot better. The main reason for which the Portuguese manager is still not convinced Chelsea have reached their full potential is the absence of an efficient striker. After several months of looking to sign a forward capable of keeping up with the excellent tempo the rest of the team has, it seems the Blues have finally set their target on the player who will surely be Europe’s next Golden boot winner.

According to Metro, Chelsea are no longer interested in Diego Costa and Rooney. Mourinho has moved rival striker, Luis Suarez to the top of his transfer wish-list. The Uruguayan has had an incredible season managing to score 23 Premier League goals up until now. His efficiency is exactly what Mou needs in his current squad the most. The sale of Sturridge to Liverpool looks like a bigger disaster of a decision with every game the SAS boys play together. Chelsea could already have Sturridge and if Suarez had not been paired with Sturridge this season then Suarez might have manqaged to engineer a transfer out of Liverpool by now and quite possibly to Chelsea.

Liverpool’s striker has scored 4 goals more than Torres, Eto’o and Demba Ba have managed in all competitions since the beginning of the season. You can only imagine what would happen if Suarez had the benefit of being supplied by the likes of brilliant midfielders such as Oscar, Hazard or Willian as well as Sturridge.

Mourinho recently pointed out that his main target was not for sale during the winter transfer period and that a move will only be possible during the summer. Suarez who is apparently valued at £55million might have to choose though, considering Arsenal and Real Madrid also look interested in securing his services but if Liverpool qualify for the CL surely he will be staying to continue his awesome ‘SAS’ partnership with Daniel Sturridge.
