Suarez Is In For The Long Run

Luis Suarez is one of the few strikers capable of scoring against any team no matter how big. His instincts in front of goal are truly amazing and his efficiency is incredible. The 26 year old Uruguayan has grown a lot since moving to England and looks to maintain his ascending trend even if he has had some unpleasant incidents since he began performing in the Premier League. Because of his unique qualities and because of the fact that several big teams lack a purebred striker such as Liverpool’s forward, transfer rumours started to emerge just one year after he left Ajax.

Since 2012 teams like Real, Chelsea, Juventus or Bayern Munich looked to sign Suarez who apparently has a contract clause that allows him to leave if a 40 million pound offer is made. After the Uruguayan got suspended and repeatedly hinted that he is not happy with the way he is treated by fans and most of all, by the English press, transfer possibilities became more possible than ever.

With the January transfer period just around the corner, Suarez is once again one of the most talked about players in European football. Even so, Liverpool’s captain, insists his teammate will not leave. According to Metro, Barcelona, Real and Arsenal are most likely to place a bid for the 26 year old forward. Gerrard is confident though that the Uruguayan international is happy with his current position and that leaving Liverpool is out of the question.

Even if Arsenal are capable of paying his buy-out clause, Liverpool will probably refuse to let him to move to another English team as they did before. If he is allowed to leave, he will probably go to teams like Bayern, Real or Barcelona.
