‘Stepped Up Big Time Under The Lights’ ‘He Was So Good’ Fans Laud Chelsea Ace After Masterclass Against Real

Chelsea forward Kai Havertz put in a sublime display as the Blues sailed past Real Madrid into the Champions League final last night.

The German international was a danger throughout the game. A fantastic effort that hit the crossbar led to Timo Werner’s opener in the first half. He also had a couple of other chances to score and he was a constant menace for Real’s centre-back pairing, Sergio Ramos and Nacho.

It wasn’t only Havertz’s performance on the ball that impressed, though, with it being noticeable that manager Thomas Tuchel has worked hard on the player’s work rate. Fans on Twitter were extremely impressed by what they saw yesterday evening:

The sky really is the limit for Havertz if he can keep up the form he has shown in his last two games. Inconsistency is expected from a 21-year-old, but if he can begin to put in the type of displays we have seen recently, on a regular basis, then his critics will be silenced very quickly.
