Sporting Director ‘In London’ As Serie A Giants Look To Find Buyer For 53M Rated Chelsea Target

Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausiilo is “in London” to hold talks with Premier League clubs about Denzel Dumfries, according to Tuttosport.

The Italian newspaper claims the Nerazzurri need to fill a €60m (£53m) black hole in their finances and they are hoping that selling Dumfries will go some way to doing that.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with the Dutch international over the last twelve to eighteen months but, after agreeing a deal to sign Malo Gusto from Lyon ahead of the summer, it is unlikely that they will want to buy Dumfries as well.

Gusto did suffer an injury scare when he was taken off after 30 minutes of the French Cup tie versus Lille on Wednesday night, but his manager Laurent Blanc played down the problem, stating it was a minor hamstring strain.

In terms of Dumfries, other teams in England such as Tottenham and Manchester United have also been mentioned as potential suitors so we shall see where he ends up.
