Sporting Director Confirms They’ll Consider “Big Offers” For £50m Rated Chelsea Target

Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting director Fredi Bobic has confirmed that the Bundesliga club will consider “big offers” in the summer for Luka Jovic.

The Serbian is currently on a two-year loan spell from Benfica, with a move expected to become permanent at the end of the season.

Bobic has explained that they will entertain bids for Jovic once his switch has been finalised:

“He’s developing, he’s great, he’s scoring a lot of goals. What do I know? We’ll see about that, but nothing in February, and now in March, because even the big clubs have to look first.”

“Will they be league champions? Do they play Champions League? It will be decided much later when they’ve made big offers.”

Chelsea have already been linked with a £39.5m offer for the 21-year-old, but reports suggest that Frankfurt could demand in excess of £50m for the player.

A whole host of other European clubs, including Barcelona, have reportedly been looking at Jovic.

Manchester City and Arsenal are also believed to be tracking the talented striker, who has been in superb form for his club so far this campaign.

In just 22 league appearances, the Serbian international has hit the back of the net 15 times, as well as laying on seven assists for his teammates.
