Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa will be sold at the end of the season, according to reports in Spain.
The Spaniard, who was sold by Chelsea for £53m, is currently suspended for the remainder of the campaign after abusing a referee.
His eight-match ban has proven to be the final straw for Atletico’s board who have grown tired of Costa’s bad behaviour.
Chelsea supporters on Twitter are very much split over whether Costa should be targeted by the Blues if their transfer ban is lifted:
Sold him at the right time.

Costa’s record since his return to Spain isn’t particularly impressive, to say the least. The 30-year-old has scored just five goals this season, while he managed seven during the second half of last campaign for Atletico.
He was controversially sold by Chelsea after then manager Antonio Conte famously told the striker via text that he was deemed surplus to requirements at the London club. He spent six months in limbo before moving back to Spain in January 2018.
