Chelsea “could sign as many as three new forwards” before the summer transfer window closes, according to Sky Sports reporter Melissa Reddy.
The Blues’ interest in Raheem Sterling is already well known, while there has been a lot of talk about snapping up Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer.
However, Reddy believes that Everton’s Richarlison is also being seriously considered as a target, with the Brazilian expected to be used in central areas, rather than out wide.
Chelsea will have to fend off interest from Tottenham and Arsenal, but manager Thomas Tuchel is keen on bringing the 25-year-old to Stamford Bridge to replace Romelu Lukaku.
With Sterling believed to be valued at £45m by City, and Richarlison likely to cost over £60m, the Blues could be spending well over £100m on the pair, with Dembele also being signed in order to make up a new-look attack. We shall see if all of these deals come to fruition.
