Sky Journalist Claims Chelsea Are “Ahead Of Everyone In The Race” For 146M Rated Trio

Sky Italy journalist Angelo Mangiante has named Chelsea’s three main targets for the summer transfer window.

Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, West Ham’s Declan Rice and Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele are believed to be the transfer priorities, with Mangiante claiming the Blues are favourites for all three:

Reports in Spain suggest that Kounde could be available for around €55m (£46m), with Sevilla’s financial problems meaning they are keen to offload him for below his €80m (£67m) release clause.

Rice, meanwhile, is likely to cost £100m or more. The 23-year-old has a contract that runs to 2024, but West Ham do have an option for a further year, so they are in a strong position to negotiate, particularly as Manchester City and Manchester United are also thought to be interested.

Dembele can be snapped up on a free transfer but there will be competition for his signature from the likes of United, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
