Should this be the line-up for this afternoon’s clash with Manchester United?

Chelsea take on Manchester United this afternoon it what is sure to be one of the season’s most exciting – and pivotal – fixtures.

The race for second place; Antonio Conte vs Jose Mourinho; the return of Romelu Lukaku – the tie has it all, and the stage is set for a huge day at Old Trafford.

United currently sit second in the league on 56 points, and Chelsea in fourth only three behind – meaning a victory for the travelling Blues could take them level on points with the Red Devils going into the final stretch of the season.

And if form is to be believed, it is Chelsea who should walk away victorious.

After a difficult start to 2018, Antonio Conte’s men have re-found their best form. Back-to-back convincing wins over West Brom and Hull City followed by a memorable draw against Barcelona in the Champions League have the Blues brimming with confidence.

United however won only two of their last five fixtures – both of which were 2-0 victories of Huddersfield Town.

Losses to Newcastle and Tottenham either side of those victories were capped off by their recent, and extremely disappointing, performance in Sevilla where they were lucky to leave the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium with a 0-0 draw.

Form has a tendency to go out of the window on occasions such as these however, and both sides possess the firepower and talent to overcome each-other on their day.

But fielding this XI, could Chelsea prove too strong for Mourinho’s United?
